Joshua Greenlaw won his first job, a position in the Vancouver Symphony, at the age of 23. Since then, he has held principal positions in several orchestras and appeared as guest principal with the Bournemouth Symphony (UK) and Opera North (UK).  He has also performed on a freelance basis with many orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra (UK).  Mr. Greenlaw is a founding member of the Factory Arts String Quartet and has appeared on chamber music series and festivals across North America as well as recording for the CBC.  As a soloist, his concerto appearances include the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and Banff Centre and a CBC broadcast of his solo recital on the ‘Debut’ series.  Currently Mr Greenlaw is assistant principal viola in the COC and National Ballet orchestras and is also a member of the Santa Fe Opera orchestra.
